Fractional, full-time, project, or advisory.
The format changes with your stage and budget. The work doesn't: measure first, own a number, do the execution, report on paying customers.
Formats
Fractional Head of Growth
I own growth for your company a few days a week. The weekly number, the channel mix, the budget, the agencies and contractors, the reporting, the launches.
Best for: seed to Series B teams where a founder is still running marketing, or a team with strong execution and no senior growth owner.
Cadence: weekly growth review, daily in your Slack, a written plan every month.
Length: agreed up front and matched to the plan. Most engagements run six months or longer.
Full-time Head of Growth
If you're hiring for the seat, I'm open to the right role. I've held it twice at developer-facing startups, with the budget, the team, and the number. The fractional work is the same job on fewer days, so everything on this site applies.
Project sprint
A defined scope with a defined outcome and a defined end date.
Examples: an SEO/GEO site rebuild · a Google Ads restructure with conversion tracking · a reporting and attribution implementation · a product or feature launch · a creator program from sourcing to first results.
Recent: a new SEO/GEO-optimized website and a full Google Ads overhaul (account structure, conversion tracking, campaigns) for a solo therapy practice.
Length: usually four to eight weeks.
Advisory
For teams that execute well and want a second opinion with scar tissue. Plan reviews, account audits, hiring help, agency selection, the numbers for the board deck.
Cadence: a few hours a month, scheduled or on call.
Consulting is billed hourly, with room to structure things around a retainer or a project. Details on how we work →
Hourly, with flexibility.
I bill hourly and track time transparently, so you always know where the hours went. If a monthly retainer or a fixed project fee fits your budgeting better, we'll structure it that way.
Ad spend is always billed directly to your accounts. I don't mark up media, and I don't take a percentage of it.
Engagement length is agreed up front and matched to the plan.
How an engagement runs.
- Intro call. 30 minutes. What you're trying to grow, what you've tried, and what the numbers say. If I'm not the right fit, I'll tell you who might be.
- Diagnostic. One to two weeks. I get access to analytics, ad accounts, product data, and the CRM, audit everything, and write up where the leverage is. Usually the first finding is that the tracking is wrong.
- Plan. Channels, sequence, budget, targets, and what "working" looks like at weeks 4, 8, and 12. Written down, with numbers, so we can be wrong on the record.
- Execute. I do the work, or I direct the people doing it. Either way, one person is accountable.
- Report. Weekly. One view, the same numbers you'd show your board, and a short note on what changed and why.
What makes this go well.
- Access. Analytics, ad platforms, product data, CRM. On day one, not week three.
- A decision-maker who can say yes within a week.
- An honest budget and runway. I'll build a plan for what you actually have.
- Someone on the product side who'll answer my dumb questions. The best growth ideas usually come from those.
